How to add Taros to your Wix website
Wix doesn't have an obvious spot for custom scripts. Here's exactly where to paste your Taros widget code.
Adding a chat widget to Wix isn't as obvious as on other platforms, but it only takes a minute once you know where to go.
What you need
- A Taros account with a paid plan
- An AI assistant set up and trained in your Taros dashboard
- A Wix Premium plan (custom code requires a paid Wix plan)
Step 1: Copy your embed code
In your Taros dashboard, go to your assistant's Widget Customizer and copy the embed code:

1. In your Wix dashboard, go to Settings
2. Scroll down and click Custom Code (under the Advanced section)
3. Click Add Code in the top right
Step 3: Add the Taros script
1. Paste your embed code in the code snippet field
2. Give it a name like "Taros Chat Widget"
3. Under Add Code to Pages, select All pages
4. Under Place Code in, select Body - end
5. Click Apply
That's it. The widget is now live on your Wix site.
Test it
Open your published Wix site in an incognito window and check that the chat bubble appears. Send a test message to confirm responses work.
If the widget doesn't show up, make sure your site is published (not just saved) and that you selected Body - end as the placement.
Don't forget: allowed domains
In your Taros dashboard, add your Wix domain to the allowed websites list in your assistant's Widget Customizer. This includes both your custom domain and your .wixsite.com URL if you're using one.
